Hey John,
ah yes, but the thing is, though I am an extreme introvert, I am not in the least bit shy. I can be "on" for a pretty decent period of time, but it does catch up to me and I need my alone time to recharge. At parties, family members now expect me to disappear for a bit in the middle of the party. I can be having a great time and then all of a sudden I just need to get away from people. In the context of survivor, that has been seen as a threatening behavior in the past. One poor woman's son had died a couple of weeks earlier and she took some walks alone to think about him. The tribe interpreted that as anti-social and voted her out. It truly would be a challenge for me to fake it for more than a couple of days.
