Does God exist?.. You answer that you don't know.That is a good start. By the way.. I believe you when you say that. You also go on to answer for others, and say they don't know either.... You cannot answer for me. I do know! For I know that God does exist.
I did not come to this conclusion based on what man has told me about God, and neither will you. If you really want to know the answer to your question, you must "Ask God"...No pun intended, I am not being facetious....
God is in my heart. I know that He exists. No man can ever take that from me... I was not there when Jesus suffered and died for my sins, but I know that He did. No man can ever take that from me. I was not there when He resurrected, but I know He did. No man can ever take that from me.
I wasn't there when George Washington was president of this country, but I know that he was. Now if sometime in the future someone were to uncover records that might reveal another to have been the 1st president of this country and that George never existed, that might cause me to think again.(man can take that from me) ...Because George Washington is not in my heart. He does not abide in me...
Many have come and gone, and many more will come still, who have said that God does not exist, and that Jesus never resurrected..It hasn't stirred me one inch. Never caused one ounce of doubt to arise, and never will... This knowing that God exists is a knowing that has come from God, not man. I know, that I know, that I know. I hear Him and He hears me...And no one cant take that away from me...He, God, lives within my heart...Not on the pages of any book....
I believe that George was the first president of this country, even though I never saw him, (don't even know any body that did) because that is what man has said. I believe that God exists, because He lives within my heart. Not because man has told me of Him... Look to God if you are looking for God....Harden not you heart..Pr.28:14
James, turn a deaf ear to me if you like. Criticize and mock me if you like, but don't turn your back on God. He is the only one in this entire universe who will never let you down....Ask God, He hears you too...
