You can do an online search for doctors who take Medicaid (for some reason almost all of them in my area seem to have Muslim names) but that doesn't mean they will actually take it or will take new Medicaid patients. I'm guessing but perhaps doctors trying to start a practice take Medicaid patients for awhile and as they build a practice start turning them down and finally stop altogether.
