My view is that THE USE OF marijuana is relatively harmless. The most harmful thing about marijuana is that it is illegal. That it is illegal leads to hundreds of deaths, thousands of lives destroyed, addiction to more harmful substances, corruption of our law enforcement and criminal courts systems, and wasteful spending of 100s of billions that could be used more effectively for important things.

So, it is possible some people are harmed by it, just as a failure to moderate use of pretty much anything will harm a person. But it is not remotely possible that as many people are harmed by marijuana use as are harmed by its prohibition.
