Most of our problems, as shareholders, began with the earnings warning relative to ongoing problems with the UB acquisition. This is one shareholder's opinion that the UB purchase was a $100+ million gamble with shareholder money. The UB purchase was described as a turnaround situation and, obviously, Newbridge senior management has yet to turn this thing around. Remember, it was not too long ago that the stock price was in the 60's (U.S.). Currently, the price is 35 3/16, down 1 1/16.
As you have observed, Ascend's products may have some concern for NN, as well as Asia uncertainties. However, our troubles started with the earnings warning issued in November. But what do I know, I'm just a dumb American shareholder.
Can any of the Canadian followers of this thread tell me if your postal strike has been resolved?
