what part of "losing money with every Medicaid patient" don't you understand?
Try and understand this.......if the doc squeezes in 5 more patients/day in his same 8 hours, there are no additional expenses. What do you think are extra expenses....? Perhaps more ins. forms for his staff to fill out. A survey I just saw says the majority of docs , about 65% I think, plan to take the same number or add new medicaid and medicare patients.... I asked on of my docs what she would do with all the extra customers who now have insurance....she said, they still won't come....
