Irby, if I may call you that, I trade stocks and occasionally options on stocks and sector indexes. I have a unique situation. My brother is a trader at a hedge fund for 3 years, having been a nasdaq market maker for 11 years previous to that. I gave up another career 2 years ago to trade for a living. I did well trading, but I had mentors. It wasn't hard to get a job at a hedge fund where my brother is now a partner. Answered? -Alex
