I agree with both of you:

Sly's deceit goes way past the pale... what he did on the bet... well it sickened more than one person. Skipping out is bad enough. Skipping out on a guy like Allen... well calling him out one more time on it is Justice.

Allen was one of the nicest, most generous people I've ever met. He once offered to share his place with me when I was having cash flow problems, and I'd only met him in person once. His attitude towards his terminal disease and financial problems at the end of his life... well I don't think I would have handled it with that much courage and humor. I offed him a place to stay down here in San Diego at the end, but Allen didn't need it, he had numerous friends in Los Angeles who put him up, a testament to his morality, honesty and personality.

On the other hand Rodie is right about engaging him. He's a waste of time. You aren't going to learn anything of use from him. In fact when I look at this thread and see the volume of his posts I've ignored... even that is a waste of time.

PUT HIM ON IGNORE. Best for him and us.
