HI, all I'm looking at IB as a new broker due to new IEX exchange availability. I last seriously looked for brokers maybe 6 yrs ago or so, and at the time IB seemed _way_ to complex for the simple uses I need - and more geared to high volume/rapid traders. I'm mainly a long term buy/hold type guy - might've done 25 trades all last year. It looks like things may have changes some and would appreciate any comments on if IB would suit me now for my simple use. (My other brokers are Scottrade, Wells Fargo, and Tradeking - all of which are very simple for me to use).

I've looked at the website and see they now have a web interface which is something I like/prefer. I've tried the demo and it seems simple enough. I'm fine (actually would prefer) just manually entering my buy/sell orders in browser. I'm mostly long equities / don't use margin. Very simple order types - either limit or market orders only.

So, I guess the question is - would you recommend IB for an investor like me who wants to keep it simple? Or should I just hang with the brokers I have? Anything I should be concerned about?

I appreciate any comments, thanks
