Because educated decent Asian's are mostly liberal and have the same feelings as liberal whites and liberal Jews i.e. that we are all willing to give up a bit to help our African American, or Latino, brothers and sisters get a leg up.
Liberal Asians may feel that way, but there are plenty of conservative and moderate Asians who do not.

I take exception to your attitude where you treat Asians as a monolithic block of voters. A majority of them may vote Democrat, but the more you assume they're going to just step aside and sacrifice for the "greater good," the more likely that majority will disappear.

And the first issue that will drive Asians away from the Democratic Party will be affirmative action, because the pragmatists among them know exactly who will be asked to make "sacrifices." It won't be the white man, nor will it be the Jews.
