Always the little mind, but the great society has endured inspite of your complete lack of faith & pretended invisible forces, and not being a hysterical whiner & demonizer. Darwin's theory aptly predicts this kind of universal tribal/nationalistic human behavior, you are not exempt, Darwin is guilty of nothing but prescience of the highest order of "what is reality" in the natural world, of which we are a part.
You can point fingers at certain events, label & demonize, only reveals your absolute ignorance of the continuum of history as we see so often. These calamities are ongoing & without end. They were caused by the ultra absolutist religionist as they were under any other regime, the USA was exceptionalist in so far as it was/is supposed gold standard of secular democracy, plus a new continent & seprated land mass for human migratory settlement.
