Consumers are forced to "buy" a lot of things

Examples? Besides auto insurance, which you can forgo by not buying a car. Though I had one car totaled by someone with no license, no license plates, no registration and no insurance. Still driving.

they don't KNOW they won't use health insurance,

As I pointed out once, my health insurance purchased on the market did not include pregnancy or child coverage, because I didn't want or need them.

ultimately end user choice drives capitalism.

How, specifically, does that apply to Obamacare? End user squawking has so far resulted in postponement of mandates and other features of Obamacare, primarily because politicians feared the wrath of the voters in the upcoming elections, but nothing has really changed. The people who wanted to keep their plans couldn't. As Lane just pointed out, the fixed benefit plan is (or will be) no longer an option. Obamacare doesn't give a flying f**k about "end user choice".
