Other than starting out with O as my largest position, because of their high yield ( much higher then ), reputation, and the fact they paid monthly, I don't really think about position size. Sometimes it has to do with how much cash I have, or am getting from something I sell. Sometimes it has to do with how much of a
bargain I think I am getting at the time.

I had enough MPW to suit me, but when I thought it went on sale, I bought some more.

Am up 50% on 100 shares of SLP, because I didn't watch it and add. I'd add more on a nice pullback, but
will just as likely end up cutting it loose for the small amount of cash.

Added to KMI warrants and MCGC as they went against me, and still are.

Don't think there is much rhyme or reason to my position sizes.

Recently thought CAH was at a good price. Looked for something I was willing to sell and didn't see anything in the moment, so it came down to how much MHR I was willing to part with. Buying 50% more CAH than I owned earlier somehow made sense. Worked out to 575 MHR.

Not saying any of this makes sense, it is just what I thought at the time.

Curious what you and others see important as to position size.
