Just spoke with Netflix help desk, which confirmed they decided to discontinue gift subscriptions for the foreseeable future. Strikes me as an odd decision. Perhaps Netflix was having problems with them. Given all the ways there are in this world for unscrupulous people to scam companies, maybe some were pulling shenanigans with the gift subscriptions.
