And it simply isn't the business of anyone else, no matter how helpful you may think you're being.

It is if your stubborn refusal affects the health or welfare of others, the cost of which will be borne by others......eg you get paralyzed in an accident due to your refusal to wear a seatbelt will require society to pay for your medical bills and support for the rest of your life....
Also, if your refusal influences your children or others in your car, it is the business of others...
