Nealm: Well, no strong move in either direction, although it end with a slight upward bias, ie $4 5/8 x $4 13/16; and on an uptick, too. However, it's waaaay too soon to heave a sigh of relief. And HEY, in the interest of misery loving company, it looks like ULBI got hit, down $1 3/16. About time they joined the party, eh ;-)

Still, we're far from out of the woods. First, has anyone been able to confirm that Don W.'s actually going to be on NBR tonight? I'm getting conflicting info. on that one. If he's on, and he "talks up" VLNC, maybe it'll generate some positive volume Monday. If not, or the "talk up" isn't significant, I look for VLNC to stay right around where it is.......margins, etc., ain't been cleaned out yet, me thinks. Meanwhile a clear resistance has formed around $5 to the upside, I see the 52 week low of $3.93 as the resistance on the downside.

As for the Korean situation, and Asia in general, it won't resolve itself soon. I expect that; except to the extent this mess impacts OEM's laptop/cellphone/etc. type of equipment sales, it should have minimal impact on VLNC. However, if this "Asian Flu" ends up dwarfing the Mexico bailout(and Korea alone has already blown by that bailout's dollar requirements), then it might have some impact on all those here posted fancy revenue dollar projections(not to mention perhaps even Red Chips), simply because I'd expect OEM sales to Asia to slow by a significant percentage. And we all know OEM's count on a not insignificant portion of their revenues from that part of the planet. The saving grace is the number of Lith-poly suppliers available(basically 1--ULBI, with VLNC waiting in the wings) combined with that C.R. sugar plum fairy song in my head of "we can sell all we can make."

But so much for musing and thoughts. Time will tell. Let's hope for a breakthru above $5 Monday. Would someone be so kind as to post Don W.'s commentary regarding VLNC, if he's truly on NBR tonight? Thanks!

John~
