How is life imprisonment any better than death if they're innocent? Because there hope still remains, futile hope maybe, but still - hope. This whole debate is futile, IMHO more or less sick, but then again as you all know, I am Swedish by birth and soul and while in no way liberal, I firmly believe capital punishment is wrong. Not so much towards the guilty person punished as towards the people involved in the clinical process of homicide albeit with the book of law in their hand. /Taro
