It's not Flash that's the problem. If you were not VERY careful when you downloaded and installed Flash then you probably accepted the installation of 4 or 5 potentially unwanted programs. When I updated Flash recently, I had to Decline 5 other programs that wanted to be installed along with Flash. If you simply clicked Accept each time the you were prompted without CAREFULLY reading what you were accepting, then you accepted the installation of all that additional software.

Be sure to read the details each step of the way before clicking on Accept and do not be afraid to click on Decline.
