For example, Fred Smith was on TV last night pointing out that FedEx employees are going to be facing higher deductibles and other cuts in benefits.

Now you are not going to tell us that this is a new trend are you? When I joined IBM, 40+ years ago, health care was virtually free...during the last three decades, and long before ACA obviously, each and every year it became hard to keep track of reduction in benefits....along came deductibles, copays, limits of coverage, premium contributions, health care for retirees was virtually eliminated....the list goes on.

Get serious.
