You cannot take a city and just pin it on the failure of the dems philosophy. If you want to do that though then tell me why San Francisco and silicon valley, Portland and seattle all bastions of liberalism are so rich and prosperous? And why is the south the poorest part of the country? That is a larger population and does have to do with the Republican philosophy. <<Again, show me your examples of why I should be all for these pie in the sky ideas you are pushing. Is that too complicated, that you have to dodge the question? Or does it remain as simple as Ds are good, Rs are bad? >> Because the dems follow science and modern thinking, and the conservatives do not even like science much and are more traditional (think primitive ideas).
