The way to stop this is for a guy like your Senator Manchin to tell Harry Reid if this continues he will become an independent a caucus with with the Republicans. Just as jumping Jeffers changed history - perhaps so could Jumpin' Joe. Depending on the election this fall Manchin may hold the key to power in the Senate.

Simply voting against a nominee is absolutely - absolutely meaningless. Removing Harry Reid from power would be meaningful.
