I did that just last summer with a friend who took me up in his Cessna 206 up over Alberta.

We didn't see any reclamation at all.

We flew over much of the affected area at about 1000' AGL. A nice three hour flight.


LOL....that should tell you how good a job has been done over the areas already reclaimed as you couldn't recognize them from natural areas.
