It just looks bad.

But it is meaningless at this point. While the problems coming down the road are pretty obvious, Republicans who celebrate these momentary blips are going to be disappointed. As the quality of care declines, the jury is out on the cost to deliver that care.

The big problem is in the subsidies. We now have a situation where middle class people are having the cost of their health insurance added to the debt of future generations. These quarterly changes are meaningless when compared with the ballooning deficits that absolutely will result from Obamacare.

They're well-hidden, but when they hit they'll hit hard.

But if you and I aren't around to see it, it doesn't matter. We're leaving it to future generations to deal with.
