What did we gain by the Iraq invasion?

What we lost is that now Iraq is part of Iran instead of a buffer against Iran.

While I don't agree with you, I will point out that to the extent your statement is correct, it is totally because of the incompetent fool that followed him.

Whom do you blame for the train wreck that is the Middle East today? We are six years into the Obama presidency and still fighting in Afg. We have the slaughter of people in Syria. Reignited hostility in Iraq. Iran continues its march toward nuclear weapons. What EXACTLY has Obama done right over there?

Criticize Bush if you will, but history will remember that it was Barack Obama who fumbled the ball that was handed to him. No one with half a mind can claim that (a) the ME is in as good a shape as it was when he took office, or (b) that Obama hasn't bungled every single involvement. Every one of them.

And the ME isn't the half of it. Obama's weakness has motivated Russia to start up a war. The economy at home is right where it was when he got here -- with real unemployment higher today than it was when Obama took office nearly six years ago.

Sorry, but your blind commitment to the Party is just too much.

This fool is the worst president ever. I do not know how we could have done worse.
