They intentionally misled the public about the nature of the incident to avoid the potential political consequences of having to admit it was a terrorist attack on an unprotected embassy at a time when anyone in his right mind would have been serious about security.

They dropped the ball and the event, had it been properly reported, may well have changed the outcome of the election (remember Candy Crowley lied about during a debate to keep her man in the running).

But then there's the cover up and you know how they are-- usually worse than the original infraction because it turns a mistake into a fraud.

It is pathetic all the way around and is but one of many reasons this fool should not be in the White House.
