Cymeed <<OFF TOPIC>> Perhaps, we just have different opinions. My opinions are: Return and risk are strongly correlated. All stocks are not equally risky. DEPO could be used to construct a diversified portfolio, but diversification only limits unsystematic risk (unexpected individual corporate event risk). You still have market, business, finacial, interest rate risk. Stocks without a consistent revenue stream and no net income have a large business and financial risk. You have added reponsiblity when manageing other peoples money. Having a long term investment horizon make stocks an appropriate option, but how the money is to be used determines how agressive the investment should be. *The goal for an educational trust fund is certainty that money will be available for education not for attempts to maximization wealth. just my opinion, long DEPO richard
