How corrupt the state gov. is has been a standing joke around here for a long time. But nobody has had much success reforming or changing it. It's too entrenched and too well financed. The same situation, arguably worse, is the case with the puppet Federal gov in D.C. which represents nobody but the banksters, mega corps., and other large special interests that own them. These and many other, debt ridden, corrupt, regimes around the world are obviously self destructing. There's not a thing that can be done to save them. Where they can, their citizens are voting with their feet. So...IMO? Political posturing and arguing is a waste of energy that can be put to better use elsewhere. Most of the regular contributors here feel the same way. Part of the reason we're here is because this isn't a political thread. There R plenty of those on SI if you want to find someone with whom to carry on an extended back and forth. Time to move on. Cheers, Isopatch
