1. Define the "day it is announced" to value the coal companies.

2. If I actually believed this was an issue to be concerned about I would pursue a solution that might - might actually work, not one that simply makes the greenies feel good by beating up the energy companies. Something that might work to me is defining and implementing a way to radiate more heat to deep space. Now, to pay for that I would put a tax on say Tesla's to make sure those who are driving the hysteria pay for the cost of the hysteria.

IMO is simply delusional to think that the issue - if there is one - can be solved by beating up world energy consumers. Any policy to address the issue should be one that might actually work.
