I suppose the histrionics can be attributed to my occasional rants, but I can't help it because of some of your other reasons. Now, I'll be the first to admit that my investment knowledge is poor, at best, but one of the reasons I'm on this thread is to increase that knowledge. And, when I first started lurking here, the majority of the posts were helpful, technical, and enlightening. As you say there is a lot of backbiting, BS, ....... fear, greed and lies....
For example, stockroach's post of #8321 to Jan included the following statement: Your statements about the amount of cash are not
correct. I am sure this quarter S3 is burning cash, how much, who
knows? First, he states that Jan's statement is wrong, proves it with his opinion, offering it as a fact! The rest of his post goes on to provide prediction in the guise of facts. I don't mean to single out just stockroach, he certainly is not as freewheeling with opinion purporting to be fact as many others.
I would like to see those that ARE short and trying make a profit, to post facts instead of opinion, facts instead of rumors and convince me that, I too, should be shorting. Don't try to scare me into it!
