Even if, you have ANY idea of the quantities of Iron Sulfide required to do a program you're suggesting? They used 100 tons of the stuff, and 20 tons of Iron Oxide (Rust) and the result was nearly a quadrupling of Salmon runs last year. It will be hard to determine, without further research, how much of that increase was due to Haida's Iron fertilization experiment, but it more than can likely be credited to natural processes.

That's $35,000 for 100 tonnes of the stuff. Then cost of ships, crew.. etc.. That's a price that could EASILY be made up for my additional taxes on salmon harvesting quotas.
You know what the value of 226 million Salmon (presumably 10-20 pounds each) are?
In other words, it could pay for itself.. at least there in British Columbia.
