Onwards to more important subjects (worthy of thought), Gaius Musonius Rufus,known as the "Socrates of Rome" around 66AD . Considered one of the most famous philosophers during Nero & Vespasian's reign, maybe not heard of him, he was the teacher of Epictetus.

So refeshing to talk about real people for a change instead of fantasy stories, note he preached about the blessings of peace and the dangers of war,also that women were equally able to understand & should study philopophy as men, and shoul be instructed too.
