You don't understand the problem.

We needed (before Obamacare) between 50 and 100 trillion dollars (present value) to make SS & Medicare actuarily stable. We needed that NOW; each day we put it off, we need more. It has gotten much worse now that we're subsidizing health care for millions of people, and giving away health care for millions more.

You can't just tax your way out of it. You increase taxes, you kill already anemic economic growth, create further incentives to not work, and further destroy the overtaxed middle class.

Okay, I'm out on this topic. There will be no meeting of the minds. You believe we're under taxed, I believed we're over taxed. That's the end of it.
