Doc you've got a point there on advertising.....one I didn't see.

Even though ad rates are falling as overall page flips increase. Targeted ads are actually on the increase....on the Quicken.com web site your in that tageted area.......banks.....insurance.....brokerage.

And Excite had 31 Content Sponsors last Q which generated what 5 Million in Revenue. The Other 8 Million comming from page flips by 460 Banner Advertiser.

I also see Intuit is doing that 'duplication' thing i like....or copying Excite.....by have content sponsors in the say mortgage channel...the 4 or 5 banks that are offering the service......plus the banner revenue on page flips.

Yea there's Money in that......sure seems if I were trying to sell a product or service about finances I'd want to advertise in an area where the users are at.....vs....say on the Superbowl. An being #2 in traffic helps too.
