It is not "perspective" to refer to pre-war Iraq as an "innocent" country. While most of the people who lived there were innocent perhaps, its leader was a threat to the United States and to his own people as is exemplified by the 5,000 deaths monthly under his reign of terror.

There was nothing innocent about that.

As to Bush, you may want to keep in mind that in Africa he saved more lives than any human in history. And brought a cost-effective Rx drug program to seniors which Barack Obama promptly destroyed.

Had we had a competent successor to Bush, Iraq would likely be on the road to freedom today, and Syria would not be killing thousands of its own people, Putin would not be acting out and we would seeing an economic resurgence long before now.
