In the rendering... instant for photo and video. Small delays often matter, especially focus speed. Advanced features like selective focus, ability to erase, etc. aren't for everyone but are nice IMO. The new talent is likely to push Apple to include more of this sort of thing, based upon his background. A good thing for Apple.
