You can create a Shutdown Shortcut. . .

Right-Click on an empty spot on your DeskTop and select "New" then "Shortcut."

In the Create Shortcut window that opens, paste this string into the Location Box.

%SystemRoot%\System32\shutdown.exe /s /t 000 /f

Click Next

Enter a name for your new shortcut.

Click Finish

A new shortcut will appear on your desktop.

Right-Click this shortcut and select Properties.

Click the Shortcut Tab

Change the Run: from Normal window to Minimized

Put a description into the Comment box. I use "Shutdown system immediately"

Click the Change Icon... button

You may need to click the Browse... button

Browse to %SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll

The Windows Shutdown icon is in the 4th row, 7th column. Select it and click OK button. The window will close.

Click the Apply button

Click OK

You'll have a Shortcut on your DeskTop that will Shutdown your computer immediately.

Cheers, PW.

P.S. There are many other options. Here are a few. . .

For Sleep:
%SystemRoot%\System32\rundll32.exe PowrProf.dll, SetSuspendState Sleep

For Re-Start:
C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe -r -t 00

For Log-Off
%SystemRoot%\System32\shutdown.exe /l
