Why don't you do some true Bible study today, bone up like a good man on the History of Alexander the "Son of God", just this map of his exploits in India are just so amazing. What stopped his march there was his men were growing weary , the huge width of the mighty Ganges river and the new foes of Ganderites and Praesii were awaiting them with eighty thousand horsemen, two hundred thousand footmen, eight thousand chariots, and six thousand war Elephants! Alexander even still wanted to press on, but that would have been the end...
What an amazing accomplishment for this "Son of God" , truely for that time. This is how we know the Hindus were doing the ritual baptizing bathing in the river, where on earth did you get the idea that John the Baptist was anything original?
The Indians were doing it by the 1000's even back then, better think again about your little Old Testement histories, the Harrappan was one of the three eldest, most wide spread bronze age civilizations besides Mesopotamian & Egyptian.
So much for your theories about the Buddha, these were the cities founded by Alexander in that part of the world, this is not myth stuff, but historical, what we like best on a science thread.
