One of SATC's big deals a while ago was a hybrid propulsion system for cars, using a small engine to "charge" a flywheel (at one time SATC had the world record rim speed for flywheels). Query whether there is anything left of this prgram at SATC now that the contract with Chrysler has ended? Do the new pollution "agreements" and the recent demise of Rosenmotors, an outfit funded by the Compaq founder and his brother, play into this picture? Is SATC trying to get their hands on Rosenmotors' expertise or employees? What about their motion control business? Is it still dependent on USG contracts? Didn't they, a few years ago, develop a super-trick motor, beating all others in power-to-weight?

Just some Qs to ponder as we look ahead.
