Meanwhile, you apparently missed the information that Iomega IR says they are discussing whether or not to continue the "million sold" announcements.

And how did they decide?? And why, when part of their marketing plan is to gain mindshare and convince people that they are the new standard, would they possibly decide against publishing their announcements?

They made the 10 millionth drive announcement in exactly the same way they made all the previous announcements. How can you possibly construe from this that they are losing market share?

Well, in my view, 10 million is a very significant achievement worthy of extra PR. So I view the lack of extra PR as a negative.

And when I say bury, I mean *BURY*. Stock split and vaporware (Clik!) announcement the same week as 10 million drive announcement? Come on, now. They could have waited a few weeks to split the stock, at least.

Not to mention that the stock split is completely incomprehensible in the first place. Tell me it didn't raise warning flags with everyone with more than 2 years stock market experience!!

Ok, I gotta get back to work. No more responses for a few days from me.

Gosh, this is fun! I missed all of you, really I did.
