Charles -- I agree with much of what you said -- but I totally disagree with you about THQ needing earnings etched in stone to move upward in the void of good news -- THQ will make a major move well prior to the next earnings report -- Everyone (even the analyists) have figured out that WCW VS NWO is a complete sellout -- and a hit game
-- the question is how many did THQ ship? PAX is selling well and the dirty little secret is that PAX will bring more or as much to the bottom line as WCW vs NWO because THQ owns 100% of PAX and pays no royalties -- and also because the margins on the cd based PAX are huge compared to the cartridge based WCW64 game. THQ will sell through both of these games over time -- the question is how many and when -- forget about Farrell selling -- look at all the posts prior to that -- they are loaded with questions about how many WCW64's were shipped? Can they get the reorders in before Christmas? Can they get them in by December 31st? The market is going to figure out the answer well prior to earnings. I'm not worried at all about Farrell's sales or today's stock price -- as the crush of Christmas sales continues -- if THQ's games are snapped up -- we and the market will know it -- and we will be much higher then we are today -- if we are sitting here in the 18's prior to earnings -- we will be in a world of hurt and on earnings release we won't be hearing any good news. For the record I think we will be sitting in a very nice place by the new year and talking complaining about when Quest64 is going to be released.....
