In your response you say they wouldn't want to do it, then you say "it would cost us an arm and a leg". If it would cost that much that would create the profit incentive to build the airports.

I said it would have to be a monopoly, which yes would be highly profitable, and suck for consumers.

There are lots of private airports around the country. Do you ever fly out of them? Why do you think it is that a tiny portion of commercial flights use private airports?

I know, government crowds them out, 'cause government just loves to compete with the private sector </sarcasm>. They're all Marxists, statist, evil power hungry control freaks trying to kill the private sector. And those poor innocent private sector virgins are lambs... making a penny on the dollar and being led to the slaughter by the "big bad" government.

Tell that to the banks...
