the centenary of the shot heard around the world is coming up in August.
Interesting observation.. Have we now transitioned into a world where 100 year floods and weather events are now joined by 100 year Global conflagrations?

Undoubtedly, as August approaches, we'll be hearing various conspiratorial pundits asserting just such a thing..

But you know.. unless you were directly involved in the carnage of those wars, you didn't see it, except on a newsreel, weeks or months after the battles occurred.

Nowadays it will be real-time (for those who don't have a Luddite gov't, such as Putin's.. who will immediately curtail all access to the internet).. We'll see it on youtube, hear the twitter chatter, the death and agony.. the cries and screams..

It stands to create quite a psychological shock to humanity..

Btw, I know I forgot to mention NZ's Mt. Taupo previously.. that is also a supervolcano on the level of Toba..
