Kafka666 Nice to meet you. Thanks a lot for the list. I followed your posts and read about these companies from time to time. Not everything is so crystal clear for me, however. For example, "ZONA - Phentolamine will never be approved and probably doesn't work anyway."
As far as I could see many shorts (Asensio included) are considering Vasomax as a complete bluff. May be it is, but main argument I have seen : old drug. Some old drugs were "rediscovered" and used in different fields. Vasomax may be ineffective or effective, but information is not publicly available. Asensio claims he has some. It could easily be the truth, but why Schering-Plough signed the agreement? Hard to believe that they did not ask for intermediate results. It looks like one crazy MD decided that it works, stupid company even did not check " before investing", then another company, also completely stupid, signed the agreement even without looking at any document. Looks like too many stupid and crazy people in the same lane. Nothing is impossible, however. Why "phentolamine will never be approved"? Will appreciate any link that may support the thesis. May be all these questions are looking funny after today bloodbath, but it was more likely the result of shorts' attack than investors disappointment. It will probably recover at least partially in the nearest future. Also, just found it, "company to buyback up to $10,000,000 of shares of its common stock."
Thank you, I will look closely at the companies from your list . IPIC, ZONA and UFEM are already hummered and could be dangerous to short at least from the short term perspective.
BTW, it would be nice to get email from you.
