I really appreciate your concern. And that's not a bad idea, really.
But of course, most of the time she does get the Zip disks back. Plus it's useful to be able to add a few finishing touches even after you think you're finished, and then just copy the new file to the Zip. Can't do that with the CDs.
Also, she already has the Zip drive, so she has no need to spend 300 bucks for a CD burner.
I'm just thinking, though, that here's a whole market area where Zip makes sense, and CD-R makes sense, but there's no SyQuest product that makes sense. Hmmmmm. (Sorry. I couldn't help it. But at least this last paragraph relates to the topic at hand.)
