Hi Wharf Rat; Re "nuclear winter". This is more politically motivated BS, this crap from people who don't like nuclear weapons. As usual, it's just bad simulations. They can't simulate the weather accurately without nuclear weapons so, what, we're supposed to believe their simulations because nuclear weapons make it easier? LOL!!!

Of course we all remember that when Saddam set the Kuwaiti oil wells on fire, the same pack of idiots predicted winter effects none of which happened.

If the military really believed any of this crap they wouldn't bother to build targeting systems. In the event of a nuclear attack they'd just set off their nukes in their own cities, LOL!!!

The same sort of crap preceded the widespread use of every new modern weapon ever invented. The fantasy will survive until two major countries really do go at it with their full arsenals. And after they blow up those bombs? The survivors will keep fighting until one side or the other runs out of weapons and surrenders, just like humans have every time before. The history is clear. Bombing has never stopped anyone from fighting. Or more accurately, civilian deaths have never stopped the politicians from continuing a war. Killing the politicians sometimes works, but usually someone gets promoted and continues the war.
