Colin, what model Cessna do you fly? I am about to purchase a Cessna 182RG; originally learned to fly in a Cessna 172, and got my instrument rating in a Piper Archer. I think I like low wings better, but the opportunity on the 182RG is a pretty good one. Plus, the view for the passengers is much better on the the high wings!-g-

TXT I feel is a good solid long term investment. However, you may want to buy about 1/3 to 1/2 of what you want to invest, and use the "reserve" to buy more on any dips. If it goes only up after you buy, you can also buy into a rising stock. I say this, because I think there is a good chance at better prices as the stock market jitters are still causing periodic chills in the market.
