RFF: Motley Fool is wrong. I have sent the following e-mail to them, copying Bay's Inv. Relations to that effect: "Motley Fool: The following excerpt from your 12/12/97 "Yahoo-Motley Fool" regarding Bay Networks is in error. In fact, Bay Networks' CFO came out after the DLJ brokerage downgrade and reiterated that Bay were "comfortable" with this quarter's rev. and profit consensus estimates. Please be so kind as to check your facts(the Bay statement was in an article by Mark Boslett in Dow Jones Newswire on Wed or Thurs of this week) and print a correction on Monday in the same place you printed the mistake. There is enough of a panic going on in tech stocks without your misinformation fueling the fires." I resent the Yahoo article to them under separate cover. Hope they print a correction Monday. Paul
