let me guess....you believe anthropogenic CO2 emissions are responsible for the california fires........weather patterns shift and climate changes over time-always have and always will. Sometimes it happens quite quickly too. For example, study of glacial lake varvs has shown that glaciation onset has happened as quickly as over just a few years.
