Do you bend down and turn off your power strip everytime you get off your computer? Do you unplug your tv when you turn it off? TV's and computers are using electricity even whenever they're plugged in.

I won't ask if you wash clothes with cold water and air dry your clothes - those questions are for people who do laundry. Similarly I won't ask if you always cook with a lid on your pan or skillet .... that doesn't apply to people who only nuke their food. But you should unplug the microwave when you're not using it .. otherwise it's sucking power just like your tv and computer.
