Hi Brumar89; Regarding Lennart Bengtsson's treatment after coming out as a skeptic; My guess is that he's quitting GWPF not because of real pressure but instead in order to make the charge of McCarthyism against the other side. From the skeptic side, I think this is more effective than staying on board. I see it as basically like the soccer players who barely bump into someone but throw themselves onto the ground writhing in imitation pain. I'm happy to see the skeptics pulling these sorts of stunts, LOL. Bengtsson's retired. No one can do anything to him. His sacrifice (such as it is) helps protect younger researchers who could be the target of the alarmist campaign. -- Carl
